Duke von Dettelbach is a very handsome 11-12 month old Shepherd mix. This young cutie with the dark eyes and tidy, spotty coat has come so far in his short time at the rescue, he's now a happy and outgoing boy with people and other pups. Duke throws himself into everything, including onto your lap if he can. He gets excited about getting out and will jet out ahead, but he’s getting good about listening to direction, especially if you are consistent. His spirited nature also extends to his interactions with other dogs. He can come on a bit strong for some but, with the right equally playful partner he'll happily play and play. He is adorable, loves fun and is great company. For that reason he’s looking for a home that will add experiences and adventure with boundaries and structure. Duke has flourished with the security, guidance and routine at the rescue. He is looking for a cat-free home please.
